Minimae is a great capture of classic console RPGs long past. The art style is very pleasing, and gameplay concise and relaxing for those moments you need a few moments to unwind. I am very happy with my purchase.

Dont get me wrong, this is a great little game, very addictive too, but I think it may be in need of some sort of inventory or something, so we can buy and sell items like armor and swords, but potions mainly. Now, Im not that far into the game, so there may be some sort of item pouch we get later, but until then, Im saying inventory and potions would be a great add-on to the game!

Excellent game - cool 80s-like graphics - inspiring little storie that reminds me of the games I used to play on the Sega Genesis when I was a kid.

where are all the rings??? i went to the first town and the well told me to go north west, but i cant find any of them other than that, great game

Anyone that likes dragon warrior will adore this treat! Controlls are a little buggy This is one nostalgic treat for all NES or RPG fans.

This game is great reminds me of my nintendo days. I love it.

Not worth the money. The only mode of advancment is finding the rings which gives you 10 more hp and lets you buy a sword upgrade. Now I have a +5 sword and I can not tell the difference when fighting monsters between the levels of sword upgrades. They all do 1 damage and I still get hit 2-3 times per swing by ememies. I dont think the upgrades actually do anything. The world is just a huge maze of mountaints and oceans with no dungeons, no way to heal yourself except returning to the towns. Bad game.

Much time spent in the bathroom playing this game. Just had to know what would happen if I were successful at finding all the stashes!

Very repetitive game play, with too little variety of enemies and simple set dialogue. It seems like a school level project that I would give a c for good try, but being a paid app a one star out of five. Needs more depth in gameplay and more characters in the towns with more things to explore. Good try but not worth purchasing. Wish this was a free app that they released for critical feed back from which they could develop a better paid app.

Should have been free app. Needs more depth and a real hp/weapons upgrade system. No Level ups etc. However it had a nice old school NES feel to it. Not worth paying for.

For those lovers of 8-bit classic gaming, this one is a must have! For those looking for 3D graphics and 24 bit sound, you are probably the ones giving this a one-star review.

No idea what to do, repetitive gameplay, no way to truly enhance combat stats and paid app. I regret purchassing! No one should buy it! Ever!

Its an ok game but I wish the user received experience points and was able to level up. It would be more rewarding after fighting all those monsters. Also would give the game some replay value. Its distressing to fight many monsters and then die because you cant find a ring but you never gain HP while looking for the ring so the further you get away from towns to explore the better chance to die even though you have battled many times. You shouldnt have to wait for a ring to gain HP.

I really enjoyed the time I spent playing RPG Quest - Minimæ and definitely got my moneys worth yet here we are, some 3+ years later, and P1XL are still updating the game AND adding content? Thats amazing! Hold my calls, Im going dungeon crawling.

There is no "world to explore", the rpg element consists of a sword u can upgrade in tandem with the progression of the game, almost everything takes place on the unimaginative world map, and the strategy consist of touching "attack" with a random chance of hitting the enemy for 1 point of damage. So disappointed. Hope to save someone from wasting a penny on this garbage.

I love this game! Retro cool! Love it! Hopefully youll read this and make part 2! Bigger! Longer!

This games pretty good, nice graphics and amazing 8-bit music. The gameplay could use a little more depth..like the ability to level up.

Love this game found it searching for dragon warrior as well it is very similar it needs hp and weapons and armor I miss the dragon warrior series

I know a lot of people would probably disagree with me, but this game is perfect. If you want great graphics, gripping sound effects, and an original plot line, DONT download this app. This is comparable to an old GBA/NES game cartridge with revamped touch controls. It took me 5 hours to complete this, and it managed to be both extremely challenging yet easy enough to keep me playing. After you really beat the game, youre given the ability to go a secret island where you can talk to in-game representations of the apps creators. On this island, they often talk about creating sequel for this amazing game, which is awesome considering it was originally a 2kb Commodore 64 game made for a competition back in 2001.
